The Odyssey Ai-DUAL Jailbird Cruiser DB Putter combines one of Odyssey's most successful Tour-proven mallet shapes with advanced face technology and a heavier, stability-focused setup. Its distinctive Jailbird head provides excellent forgiveness and confidence at address, while the contrasting Versa alignment system offers clear visual guidance to help golfers square the face and start more putts on their intended line.
At the centre of the design is Odyssey's innovative Ai-DUAL insert, created to produce more consistent ball speed across the face while encouraging improved forward roll. The combination of a soft urethane outer layer and firmer inner layer delivers responsive feel, dependable pace control and consistent performance on strikes across a wider area of the face.
Fitted with a Double Bend shaft, the Jailbird Cruiser DB is face balanced and best suited to golfers with a putting stroke that features minimal arc and limited face rotation.
The longer and heavier Cruiser configuration provides additional stability throughout the stroke. Its 38-inch length, heavier head and extended grip allow golfers to adopt a comfortable setup while promoting a controlled tempo and smoother putting motion.
Designed using Artificial Intelligence, the Ai-DUAL insert features a dual-layer urethane construction. A softer outer layer provides responsive feel at impact, while a firmer inner layer helps maintain consistent ball speed across the face and enhance forward roll on strikes made higher or lower on the insert.
Odyssey's new Forward Roll Design Groove is deeper and more aggressive than previous designs. Its 19° slope works alongside the dual-layer insert to encourage the ball to begin rolling sooner, helping improve pace consistency and directional control.
The iconic black-and-white Versa design creates strong visual contrast at address. These alignment cues make it easier to identify the face angle, centre the golf ball and position the putter square to the intended target line.
The Double Bend shaft creates a face-balanced configuration with 0° of toe hang. This setup is particularly well suited to golfers who use a straight-back-and-through stroke or produce very little face rotation during the putting motion.
The heavier Odyssey SL 140 shaft has been selected to complement the increased head weight of the Cruiser design. This creates a more substantial overall build that promotes stability, consistent rhythm and a smoother stroke.
The extended 17-inch Cruiser grip allows golfers to position their hands at the most comfortable point for their setup. Players can grip farther down the handle while benefiting from the added stability of the longer and heavier configuration.
