The Odyssey Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square MAX 1/2 Ball combines Odyssey's most advanced alignment and stability technologies into its most forgiving putter design to date. The innovative 1/2 Ball alignment frames the ball at address, helping centre impact and sharpen aim for a more confident, repeatable setup.
Built around the Ai-DUAL insert, the Square 2 Square MAX delivers consistent ball speeds across the face while promoting a smooth, reliable forward roll. Its zero-torque construction is engineered to resist face rotation, encouraging the putter to stay square to your path throughout the stroke. With its high-stability MAX head shape and face-balanced performance, this model is ideal for golfers who prioritise forgiveness, accuracy and a square-to-square putting motion.
Designed using Artificial Intelligence, the Ai-DUAL insert uses a dual-layer urethane construction with a soft outer layer and a firmer inner layer. This pairing helps maintain consistent ball speeds across the face, while also promoting enhanced forward roll up and down the face. The result is a smooth, responsive feel with dependable distance control.
Odyssey's new Forward Roll Design (FRD) Groove is deeper and more aggressive to help the ball start rolling sooner. Featuring a 19° slope, it works together with the dual-layer insert to improve forward roll across a wider impact area, supporting more consistent results on strikes high or low on the face.
This design positions the shaft just above the centre of gravity in the plane of the putter. As a result, the putter naturally rests with the toe up, opposite to a traditional toe-hang design. This construction helps promote a square face throughout the stroke for greater consistency.
Featuring 2° of preset forward shaft lean, this design naturally sets the hands in a forward press position. It helps eliminate unwanted face opening that can occur when golfers apply forward press on their own, encouraging a more stable, repeatable setup at address.
