The GT3 Fairway Wood is designed for golfers seeking controlled ball flight, rapid ball speeds, and extensive adjustability. Each of the three GT3 loft options features the advanced SureFit Adjustable CG Track System, allowing fitters to customise the club's performance by positioning a sliding weight into one of five distinct locations: H2 (Heel), H1, N (Neutral), T1 (Toe), and T2. This adjustability enables players to fine-tune their shot shape and trajectory for optimal performance.
A standout feature of the GT3 Fairway is its taller face, distinguishing it from the GT2 model. This design is particularly favoured by players who prefer to hit down on the ball with their Fairway Wood and appreciate the look of a deeper face. The taller face not only enhances confidence at address but also contributes to increased forgiveness on off-center strikes, ensuring consistent performance across the entire face.
With the Titleist GT3 Fairway, golfers can achieve a harmonious blend of control, speed, and versatility, making it an ideal choice for those looking to elevate their game both off the tee and from the fairway.
The GT2 and GT3 Fairways feature an ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This material is about five times lighter than steel, providing significant weight savings compared to previous fairway crowns, while maintaining Titleist’s classic sound and feel. The crown is completely seamless, offering a player-preferred look at address without compromising performance. GT2’s crown utilizes more of this polymer to accommodate its specific center of gravity targets.
The discretionary mass saved from the Seamless Thermoform Crown allowed Titleist engineers to reposition the center of gravity for optimal performance. The GT2's CG is pushed lower and closer to the face, resulting in higher launch and lower spin compared to its TSR2 predecessor. Meanwhile, the GT3's CG is deeper to facilitate higher launch with low but playable spin.
The clubface on GT fairways is designed to enhance performance on low-face strikes. A new insert wraps around the bottom of the club, preserving ball speed, reducing excessive spin, and enhancing sound and feel.
Both GT2 and GT3 Fairways feature refined shaping. Titleist engineers flattened the sole curvature from heel to toe on both models, giving the head the appearance of sitting lower. Impacts on the toe and heel side now hit higher on the face, adding forgiveness.
