The Cobra RAD-S Fairway Wood delivers the same core performance technologies found in the mainline fairway, but in a more accessible and value-driven package. Designed for golfers who want a combination of distance, forgiveness and playability, the RAD-S fairway offers strong all-round performance from both the tee and the turf.

Key differences from the main RADSPEED fairway include a non-CNC milled face, updated cosmetic detailing, and a non-Arccos enabled grip. Despite these changes, the RAD-S fairway still provides excellent ball speed, high launch and consistent performance, making it a reliable option for golfers seeking a forgiving and easy-to-hit fairway wood.

FRONT-BIASED RAD WEIGHTING

The RAD-S fairway features two 8g internal front weights (16g total) combined with a 7g back weight to create a balanced front and back weighting system. This setup promotes ultra-low spin while maintaining a high launch and excellent forgiveness.

This strategic weight placement helps deliver faster ball speeds and a more penetrating ball flight, while still providing the stability needed for consistent performance across the face. The result is a fairway wood that performs equally well off the tee and from the fairway.

HOLLOW SPLIT RAILS

Hollow rails positioned in the front of the sole create up to 70% more flex directly behind the face. This increased flex helps generate higher launch and improved ball speed, particularly on strikes low on the face.

In addition to boosting speed, the rails improve turf interaction, allowing the club to glide more smoothly through different lies. This makes the RAD-S fairway easier to strike cleanly from tight fairways, rough and uneven ground.

THIN-PLY CARBON CROWN

The Thin-Ply Carbon Crown uses a carbon fibre material that is 30% thinner and 6 grams lighter than traditional designs. This weight saving allows mass to be repositioned lower and further forward in the head.

By optimising the centre of gravity, Cobra has enhanced launch conditions while reducing spin and increasing ball speed. This contributes to longer, more consistent shots and improved overall performance from a variety of lies.
