An increasing number of golfers are opting for a Lithium battery to power their electric trolley because, with a 5-year limited warranty, it provides a reliable and more cost-effective option than a Lead-acid alternative.
An integrated Battery Management System protects the Lithium and helps to provide a five-times-longer lifespan than Lead-acid equivalents, while both 18 and 36 hole Lithium capacities can be recharged from empty in less than five hours.
The lightweight and compact Lithium batteries are also designed to remain on the trolley when folded down, to make it easier when travelling to and from the course.
*This battery will complete 36 holes on a Motocaddy single motored trolley when used in normal conditions. The battery is not designed to complete 18 holes over consecutive days on a single charge. Battery capacity will reduce over time and can be affected by frequency of use and charging conditions
Warranty Details
Motocaddy Lithium Warranty (valid for sales from 01/01/12)
The Motocaddy Lithium battery and charger are both covered by a full 24 month warranty from the date of purchase. In addition to the standard 24 month warranty, Motocaddy now offer a 5 year limited warranty (additional 3 years) on the battery (this excludes the charger). In order to qualify for the 5 year limited warranty, please register online using the Battery Warranty Registration form.
If your product should fail during the 3rd year of ownership, Motocaddy will offer you a brand new replacement for 50% of the purchase price of the product. Year 4, 70% of the listed purchase price and year 5, 85% of the listed purchase price. Any purchased product will come with a new 5 year limited warranty.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse or commercial use is not covered. Motocaddy warrant that all LiFePO4 Lithium batteries will retain 75% of the original rated capacity (Wh).
Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase. The warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to request a proof of purchase.
