The Odyssey Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square #7 takes one of Odyssey's most popular mallet shapes and re-engineers it with a zero-torque design to help keep the face square throughout the putting stroke. Built around the Ai-DUAL insert, it delivers consistent ball speed across the face while promoting a smoother, more reliable forward roll.
The Square 2 Square construction is designed to naturally resist face rotation, helping the putter stay square to your path from takeaway through impact. This makes the #7 an excellent option for golfers who want maximum face stability, improved start lines, and greater confidence on short and mid-range putts.
Designed using Artificial Intelligence, the Ai-DUAL insert uses a dual-layer urethane construction with a soft outer layer and a firmer inner layer. This pairing helps maintain consistent ball speeds across the face, while also promoting enhanced forward roll up and down the face. The result is a smooth, responsive feel with dependable distance control.
Odyssey's new Forward Roll Design (FRD) Groove is deeper and more aggressive to help the ball start rolling sooner. Featuring a 19° slope, it works together with the dual-layer insert to improve forward roll across a wider impact area, supporting more consistent results on strikes high or low on the face.
This design positions the shaft just above the centre of gravity in the plane of the putter. As a result, the putter naturally rests with the toe up, opposite to a traditional toe-hang design. This construction helps promote a square face throughout the stroke for greater consistency.
Featuring 2° of preset forward shaft lean, this design naturally sets the hands in a forward press position. It helps eliminate unwanted face opening that can occur when golfers apply forward press on their own, encouraging a more stable, repeatable setup at address.
