These GT3 Driver models are fitted with upgraded Premium Graphite Design Shafts.
The Titleist GT3 Driver delivers exceptionally fast ball speeds with maximum adjustability for players aiming to optimise distance and control ball flight. Featuring a new Adjustable CG Track, positioned closer to the face than the TSR3, fitters and golfers can choose from five CG locations (H2, H1, N, T1, T2). Aligning the CG setting with strike location tendencies ensures an optimal CG location, enhancing speed and consistency in ball flight. These advantages are amplified in the GT3 due to the forward placement of the track.
Like the GT2, the GT3 Driver has a 460cc clubhead, but it appears more compact and pear-shaped, with a taller clubface. Compared to the TSR3, the GT3’s design is more aerodynamic, resulting in faster clubhead speeds for the golfer.
The core of the GT3’s innovations lies in its new Seamless Thermoform Crown and Split Mass Construction, which contribute to faster ball speeds and increased stability.
Each model in the GT lineup features an ultra-lightweight crown made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This material, never before used in golf clubhead design, provided Titleist engineers with unprecedented design solutions for internal weight positioning, resulting in gains across multiple categories of driver performance.
The crown is seamlessly integrated into the sole using an advanced thermoforming process, producing a clean look with no visible seam or transition between materials.
The weight savings from GT’s Thermoform Crown allowed Titleist engineers to reposition discretionary weight optimally within the clubhead. Mass was strategically shifted towards both the front, enhancing speed through CG placement, and the rear, providing stable, high-MOI performance.
CG placements vary across the three models, offering players the chance to find the ideal combination of speed, launch angle, and spin for their game with three distinct setups.
Enhancements to internal construction and weight distribution have allowed for optimal aerodynamic improvements across the three models. Previously unattainable due to design limitations, these breakthroughs have led to refined profiles that reduce drag and increase clubhead speed in the GT drivers.
GT’s remarkably fast face is driven by two pivotal technologies. An upgraded titanium Speed Ring fortifies and stabilizes the perimeter of the clubface, ensuring maximum ball speed on on-center strikes. Additionally, Variable Face Thickness (VFT) maintains consistently high ball speeds on off-center strikes, minimizing excessive distance loss.
