The Cobra KING TOUR Irons boast a Tour cavity back design for accurate shot-shaping with a touch of enhanced forgiveness, and they come equipped with a TPU insert for a smooth, responsive feel on each strike.
Featuring a compact tour cavity back design that promotes precise shot-making with extra forgiveness. The irons boast a sleek, progressively more compact shape than the KING Forged TEC model, including a slender topline and reduced offset for improved control and maneuverability. Additionally, the updated Tour shape features a slightly shorter blade length compared to the previous KING Tour MIM Irons, further enhancing control and workability.
The KING Irons stand out with their exceptional soft feel, which is highly valued by skilled players. This is achieved through the addition of a fifth step in the forging process, compared to the standard four steps in traditional irons. The 5-step forging process ensures uniform grain structure and precise shaping, as the irons are crafted from 1025 carbon steel.
The TOUR irons' improved forgiveness can be credited to their CNC-milled undercuts in the back of each iron. These undercuts allow weight to be relocated to a lower center of gravity, leading to a better launch and enhanced stability on off-center hits.
The TPU material-filled CNC milled cavities, paired with an aluminum co-mold medallion, and these both dampen impact vibrations to produce a soft, responsive feel and a more appealing sound on every strike.
