The M-13, the successor to the Mizuno Pro 243, blends traditional head shaping with advanced multi-material construction to deliver a complete performance set. Designed to generate more speed in the long irons and enhanced precision in the scoring clubs, the Mizuno M-13 Irons adapt technology throughout the set while maintaining a consistent look, feel and profile from 4-iron through to wedge.
The M-13 features a compact, manoeuvrable head with a thin, graduated top line across the set. This tour-preferred shaping is paired with modern internal construction to create a faster, more consistent flight profile without compromising the clean, classic appearance better players demand.
In the 4 and 5 irons, a Pocket Cavity Grain Flow Forged construction combines high-strength Chromoly 4120 with 431 stainless steel. This multi-material design increases structural strength while unlocking higher ball speed potential in the long irons, helping golfers achieve stronger launch and improved distance without sacrificing forged feel.
The 6, 7 and 8 irons utilise a Micro-Slot Grain Flow Forged construction featuring a face that is 0.3mm thinner than the previous generation. This thinner face increases flex at impact, delivering controlled ball speed and mid-to-high COR performance for a powerful yet predictable flight window.
From 9-iron through to gap wedge, the M-13 transitions to a one-piece Grain Flow Forged 1025 Elite construction. This design focuses on precision, trajectory control and the soft, stable impact sensation synonymous with Mizuno's scoring irons, giving players maximum control into the greens.
The multi-material build allows for Mizuno's thinnest-ever Contour Ellipse Face at just 1.37mm - approximately 35% thinner than the Mizuno Pro 243. The result is increased ball speed and added distance potential while retaining the responsive feedback and forged feel expected from a Mizuno iron.
The Triple Cut Sole incorporates sharper leading edges and bevelled trailing relief to improve turf interaction. This refined sole design promotes cleaner strike consistency and reliable contact from a variety of lies and swing conditions, giving players confidence whether attacking tight fairways or playing from challenging turf.
