The Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi has become a staple in the bags of many Mizuno tour professionals, offering a powerful yet easy-launching alternative to traditional long irons. Designed to blend seamlessly into Mizuno Pro iron sets such as the M13, M15 or a full Mizuno Pro combo build, the Fli-Hi delivers the speed, flight and control demanded at elite level.
Engineered as a versatile long iron option, the Fli-Hi provides the launch and forgiveness modern players need while maintaining the compact profile preferred by better golfers. It offers a penetrating yet controllable flight, making it ideal for attacking long par 3s, positioning tee shots and holding greens from distance.
The fully upgraded chassis is forged from heat-treated 4335+ Nickel Chromoly, an ultra high-strength material that promotes elevated ball speeds across the face. The hollow body construction enhances energy transfer at impact while retaining a solid, responsive feel. A more pliable body and bendable hosel also allow for precise custom fitting adjustments.
The Fli-Hi features a manoeuvrable and compact head shape with a thin, graduated top line that flows cleanly into the rest of the Mizuno Pro iron range. Its tour-inspired proportions deliver a confidence-inspiring look at address while promoting a faster, more consistent ball flight profile.
With 26 grams of tungsten positioned low within the head, the Fli-Hi generates elevated launch compared to traditional long irons. This strategic weighting improves playability, increases peak height and enhances stopping power into greens.
An intelligently positioned weld line inside the upper face gauge allows for a thinner top line without sacrificing structural integrity. Along the lower edge, the weld line is set back from the face to increase flexibility, helping maintain ball speed on strikes low on the face.
The bounce angle has been increased by one degree to enhance turf interaction. This subtle refinement promotes cleaner contact from a variety of lies, improving consistency when striking from tight fairways or light rough.
Finished in a premium Black Ion Satin, the Fli-Hi frames the ball beautifully at address and delivers a sleek, compact appearance. The darker finish reduces glare and enhances the tour-inspired aesthetic.
