The Cobra OPTM X Fairway is designed to deliver an ideal balance of ball speed and forgiveness in a classic, confidence-inspiring shape. OPTM fairways are engineered to reduce Products of Inertia (POI), significantly limiting clubhead twisting on off-centre strikes. Strategic shaping and intelligent weight placement help create a more stable, accurate head at impact, supporting tighter dispersion and improved consistency.
A carefully refined head profile places mass more evenly around the centre of gravity to minimise unwanted rotation on mis-hits. Using advanced supercomputing, Cobra engineers optimised the overall shape and internal weighting to deliver an effective blend of forgiveness, dispersion and shot control.
The OPTM X Fairway features an adjustable weighting system with two interchangeable weights (11 g and 3 g). Position the heavier weight in the back of the head to promote higher launch and increased forgiveness, or move it to the toe to lower launch and reduce spin for a more penetrating ball flight.
A forged face insert with H.O.T. Face technology enhances face flex across multiple impact locations. This helps maintain ball speed and distance on off-centre hits, delivering strong, dependable performance when precision matters most.
