Replace difficult-to-hit long irons with the powerful and versatile Srixon ZXiU Gen 2 Utility Iron. Designed to deliver higher launch, impressive speed and excellent forgiveness, the ZXiU combines modern distance technology with the clean appearance and control of a blade-like iron.
Its refined players' profile incorporates moderate offset to inspire confidence without appearing bulky behind the golf ball. Technologies including i-FORGED construction, MainFrame iQ and the renowned Tour V.T. Sole help the ZXiU produce consistent performance from the tee, fairway and rough.
The Srixon ZXiU is engineered for golfers seeking an alternative to traditional long irons, hybrids or higher-lofted fairway woods.
Its combination of speed, launch and forgiveness makes it suitable for long approach shots and positional tee shots, while the iron-style profile provides a controlled appearance preferred by confident ball strikers.
Srixon's i-FORGED construction uses condensed forging extending from the high-toe area and along the topline of the iron blade. This strengthens important areas of the clubhead and enhances overall durability.
The forged face is specially softened to refine the impact sensation, giving the ZXiU the premium feedback expected from a forged Srixon utility iron.
MainFrame iQ incorporates a variable-thickness network of precision-milled grooves, channels and notches into the rear of the face.
These structures flex together during impact to maximise energy transfer into the golf ball. The result is faster ball speed and more consistent distance across a larger portion of the face, helping protect performance on off-centre strikes.
The renowned Tour V.T. Sole uses a proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles and carefully positioned notches to improve turf interaction.
Its distinctive shape encourages the clubhead to glide smoothly through fairway grass, rough and sand without losing unnecessary speed. It can also reduce the effect of contact where the club enters the turf slightly behind the golf ball.
The ZXiU is designed to produce the higher launch required from a modern long-iron replacement while maintaining a controllable mid-spin flight.
This combination helps golfers generate useful carry distance and a more playable landing angle without sacrificing the precise response associated with an iron-shaped head.
Guided by feedback from Srixon's Tour staff, the latest ZXiU has been refined to provide a cleaner and more exacting appearance.
A blade-like profile, moderate offset and slightly thinner topline than the previous generation create a confident setup that blends naturally with Srixon ZXi iron sets.
Every new Srixon ZXi iron face and body is forged by Endo in Japan. Widely respected for its precision manufacturing, Endo produces premium forged components to exceptionally demanding standards.
This meticulous process contributes to the consistent quality and responsive feel found throughout the ZXiU Utility Iron.
