This putter stands as the flagship model of his latest seasonal collection, showcasing a sophisticated black finish, black shaft, and black Pistolini Plus grip.
Since the introduction of his early Classics line, Scotty has consistently crafted putters with dark finishes and complementary color schemes. The B3 Triple Black Design LTD Catalina revives this tradition with a modern twist on a classic name. This updated model, inspired by the Super Select Newport Plus design but without the aircraft aluminum soleplate, features a slightly wider head than a standard Newport. Scotty has paired this contemporary Catalina head with a sleek single bend shaft, offering near-face balanced performance in a more user-friendly blade length compared to the original.
The Tour Black finish, crafted for golfers who favor a dark putter and reduced sun glare, is achieved through a PVD treatment applied to the 303 stainless steel putter head. This process follows meticulous manual misting of the topline and back, along with hand-buffing of the face and sole. The black Pistolini Plus grip and the chrome shaft, also treated with the Tour Black finish, complete the distinctive “triple black design.”
