This is the brand's first environmentally-conscious golf shoe, featuring recycled materials and a BLOOM TPE midsole, which is a resin blended with algae. Notably, algae is known to effectively remove harmful phosphorous and ammonia from industrial wastewater and is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth.
The Genem also incorporates recycled BOA wire, recycled synthetic upper, and recycled synthetic fibers in the tongue and heel cuff, demonstrating Mizuno's commitment to reducing their environmental impact.
