The CBX Zipcore Golf Wedge has been designed by Cleveland Golf to provide golfers with a golf club that allows you to connect better with the golf ball around the green for better shots that stroke true and cleanly more often.
Cleveland Golf has used a lightweight and low-density core which has been placed in the heart of the golf club head to reduce the amount of vibration that is created on shots, while also moving the centre of gravity to create a much more forgiving golf club. The clubhead design of the golf club uses a hollow cavity construction which allows for a much more balanced feel when playing with the space between the weighting in the toe and heel.
To ensure that golfers are able to experience smoother and more fluid golf swings when using this golf wedge, Cleveland Golf has included a Gelback TPU insert to absorb any adverse vibrations created, even on miss-hits, to create a much smoother feel. This has been paired with a dynamic sole, which changes the loft with each wedge, to create a much better interaction with the turf or sand when playing a shot onto the green.
The face of the golf club has been designed in a way to maximise spin by including UltiZip Grooves that are much sharper, deeper and moved closer together to create greater contact with the golf ball. This has been enhanced by adding two additional groovers to the face to maximise the amount of contact and create as much greenside spin as possible. To add even more spin to the golf ball a Spinner Shaft has been used in the design of this golf club which allows for spin to be created easily around the greens.
The CBX Zipcore also offers a Pitching Wedge which has been created with a 44-degree clubhead to provide golfers with all the stopping power they will need on the greens.
