In the development of the CBX 4, Cleveland has utilised three distinct blast media and laser-milled line patterns specifically tailored to each wedge category. The 44°–48° Wedges, characterized by lower lofts, require a more nuanced rough face blast with fewer lines to optimise spin performance. Progressing to the 50°–52° Wedges, with slightly higher lofts, involves a slightly rougher blast and additional lines. Finally, the 54°–60° Wedges, boasting the highest lofts, undergo the most robust blast and receive the greatest number of lines, enhancing friction and ensuring heightened consistency.
