Surpassing the remarkable 10,000 g-cm2 combined moment of inertia threshold initially set by its predecessor, the G400 MAX, five years prior, this G430 Max 10K Driver showcases a triumvirate of prominent and discernible technological advancements.These notable features encompass a strategically positioned fixed back weight, a substantially augmented head profile, and the innovative inclusion of a Carbonfly Wrap meticulously integrated into the crown of the club.

FIXED BACK WEIGHT

The fixed back weight in the G430 Max 10K Driver is a crucial feature that contributes to the record-setting MOI of the driver. By placing the weight at the back, it drives mass down and back, increasing forgiveness and optimising the center of gravity position. This design lowers spin and ensures that ball speed is preserved across the entire clubface, resulting in added distance.

LARGER HEAD PROFILE

The G430 Max 10K boasts PING's biggest head profile to date. The larger head maximises the USGA-allowable heel-toe and front-back dimensions while still staying within the 460cc volume limit set for drivers. This increased head size provides an eye-pleasing shape that helps square the golfer to the target, instilling confidence and promoting longer, straighter tee shots.

CARBONFLY WRAP ON THE CROWN

The Carbonfly Wrap is a technology applied to the crown of the PING G430 Max 10K Driver. It contributes to the overall weight distribution and characteristics of the club. This wrap helps create a slightly louder and less muted impact experience in the larger profile head, potentially enhancing the golfer's feel and feedback during the swing.

FORGED FACE WITH SPINSISTENCY

The driver features a shallower and thinner forged face. This face design is optimized for increased flexing, ensuring faster ball speeds upon impact. Spinsistency, a variable roll radius innovation, is employed to optimize spin across the face, providing added distance by maintaining consistent spin rates.

WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION

The heavier backweight in the G430 Max 10K, totalling 28g, is achieved by saving 5g from the carbon crown (13g fully installed). This weight distribution creates a powerful combination of accuracy and distance, catering to the performance needs of various golfers, from tour professionals to everyday players.
