Titleist continues to deliver innovation and precision to elite players with the release of the all-new GT1 3TOUR Fairway Wood. Designed in response to direct feedback from tour professionals, this addition to the GT metalwood lineup offers a tour-inspired 3-wood profile that combines high launch with lower spin and advanced adjustability. Already seen in the bags of Titleist ambassadors like Doug Ghim and Cameron Davis, the GT1 3TOUR is proving its place among the game's best.
At its core, the GT1 3TOUR retains the shallow face and easy-launch characteristics of the standard GT1 fairway. However, Titleist engineers took performance a step further by integrating a stronger "Tour Loft" of 14.5 degrees and dropping the centre of gravity even lower. The result is a high-launching fairway wood that offers a more penetrating trajectory and optimised spin for faster swing speeds.
The key to the GT1 3TOUR's performance lies in its Seamless Thermoform Crown, made from a proprietary matrix polymer. This lightweight material frees up mass for strategic repositioning, enabling a significantly lower CG than the standard GT1. Combined with the club's shallow profile, this contributes to excellent turf interaction, increased launch, and greater forgiveness from various lies.
Customisation is another standout feature. The GT1 3TOUR includes dual performance control settings, using 11g and 3g weights that can be positioned forward or back. The forward setting (stock configuration) delivers lower spin and faster ball speeds, while shifting the heavier weight to the rear enhances launch and forgiveness--giving players full control to optimise performance based on their game and course conditions.
Even the hosel has been reimagined. By redesigning the internal hosel structure, Titleist engineers managed to save even more discretionary weight and fine-tune the head's mass properties. It's a small change that yields meaningful improvements in feel, stability, and consistency.
