TaylorMade has designed the Soft Response Golf Balls so that amateur golfers are able to create shots with enhanced feel on shots while still being able to generate high ball speed and distance.
A new SpeedMantle 3-layer construction has been used in this golf ball to create greater energy transfer at the point of impact to allow for a softer golf ball that has incredible feel but is still able to generate brilliant ball speed and distance on shots.
To provide golfers with a ball that has increased carry on ball flight an extended flight dimple pattern that uses steeper and shallower dimples which reduces drag so that when hit the golf ball is able to stay in the air for longer while having a lower spin range thanks to the optimised aerodynamics. This dimple pattern helps to elevate the performance of golfers who may have slow-to-average swing speeds.
The soft response has used a new, soft core and re-engineered ionomer cover to allow for moderate swing speed players to generate faster balls speeds while still having plenty of greenside spin.
