The Wilson Launch Pad 2 Ladies Fairway Wood golf club provides women golfers with an easy to hit, lightweight club that has been designed to avoid slicing shots from the fairway thanks to its draw bias design.
This fairway wood features several design features that have been specifically chosen to promote more draw bias on golf swings. This has been achieved by using design aspects such as adjusting the angle and geometry of the clubface, the shape of the clubhead itself and the position of the golf clubs centre of gravity which has been moved further forward and closer to the heel.
To allow women golfers to create faster swing speeds on the fairway, and also create much more distance, the clubhead of this fairway wood has been made ultra-lightweight and then paired with a lightweight Project X Evenflow shaft to create brilliant performance on every swing.
Wilson has created the face of the golf club to be made of a high-strength Carpenter Custome face that has been made incredibly thin to deliver greater feel and higher ball speeds on shots from the fairway.
Solve The Slice
Many aspects of this club design are aimed at promoting a draw bias, including face angle and geometry, a moderate offset, the head shape and a center of gravity positioned forward and heelward.
