The Cobra Air-X Fairway Wood has been designed in a similar way to the Air-X driver, with a similar weight-saving design and internal weighting to improve golfers' shots.
The Air-X fairway wood has been designed with an extremely lightweight construction so that golfers can experience incredible swing speeds that are effortless to achieve. This has been achieved with the crown of the Air-X fairway being crafted using premium lightweight carbon materials that create a much lighter clubhead that delivers much faster swing speeds.
Paired with the carbon crown to add more speed to golfers' shots is the high-strength Carpenter 455 face insert, which also provides additional weight saving but also allows for increased face flexibility for even more ball speed.
With the increased swing speeds, Cobra wanted to make sure that with this increase players could still experience consistently straighter shots. They achieved this by including heel weighting into the design along with an offset hosel to reduce the amount of slicing on shots and keep players shots flying straighter down the fairway.
