The Toulon Daytona Beach putter is an all new multi-material crowned mallet design which is best suited for players with strokes that feature minimal arc and face rotation.
The Daytona Beach features a new stroke lab weighting design which uses multiple different materials on the shaft to allow for 40 grams of weight to be saved. The weight that has been saved is then redistributed around the head and the grip of the putter.
This movement allows for a complete rebalancing of the putter to improve tempo and consistency in a player's stroke, a design method that has found great success in tours around the world.
Weighting has been a key focus when designing this putter, with Odyssey implementing a new two split-weight design. This design moves weights that are installed in the head of the putter further forward, and towards the toe and heel. Movement of the weights improves the inertia of the head, while also improving the consistency of impact and forward rolling. Using deep full face grooves in the design of this putter means that players can experience the brilliant sound and feel of this club by the face channeling the vibrations created at the moment of impact.
