A newly engineered, 69% lighter SpeedFoam Air. This has provided 3.5g of weight savings, and this saved weight has been redistributed to provide better launch conditions. This new formation has also ensured a sweet sound and a solid feel.
INTELLIGENT SWEET SPOT
Compared to the original P790, the sweet spot has been increased by up to 60%. TaylorMade has placed the sweet spot where golfers need it the most.
THRU-SLOT SPEED POCKET™
A Thru-Slot Speed Pocket™ provides increased face flexibility while ensuring ball speeds and distance are still high on low face strikes.
THIN-WALL CONSTRUCTION AND FORGED L-FACE
Featuring a new 8620 carbon steel construction, and this has made the head thinner by up to 37.5% in strategic locations. This has enabled a lower CG placement, and this new design pairs with responsive 1.5mm forged 4140 steel L-Face. This promotes supreme flexibility, fast ball speeds, and distance.
TUNGSTEN MASS FOR LOW CG
TaylorMade has developed new construction methods to thin out the body, and this has allowed for up to 31g of tungsten to be placed in the toe. This has created an unrivalled amount of stability and forgiveness.
