To make sure that golfers are able to play with a golf iron that offers the maximum amount of distance and launch on every shot, Cleveland Golf has designed the XL Halo Golf Iron to feature a larger clubhead that is able to generate an MOI of 2,908 g-cm2, the most ever in a Cleveland Golf Hybrid-Iron.
Cleveland Golf has designed these irons to use a glide rail so that golfers can experience a club that plays with greater interaction with the turf for smoother shots to be made without digging in. This glide rail is used on the larger irons for greater turf interaction but this gradually transitions to a V-Shaped sole in the shorter Irons and ultimately a 3-Tiered Sole on the Dual and Sand Wedges.
The mainframe of the club has been designed using artificial intelligence that uses variable face technology to create a iron that can fire the golf ball off the face at increased speeds, while a unique weight pad design ensures that players experience maximum forgiveness across the face so that even when the ball is hit off-centre golfers can still expect to see their shots fly further down the fairways and approaching the greens. This is paired with a hibore stepped crown that lowers the centre of gravity of the golf club, this design allows for higher launching shots to be created easily for greater distance on every shot.
Cleveland has designed the 4-7 irons to feature wider, flatter grooves to help launch the ball further on every shot, while the 8-DW irons feature lofts that are closely-spaced and deeper to create greater spin on each shot for closer approach play around the greens.. These higher lofts have been designed with laser-milled grooves for enhanced friction on shots.
An 8g weight has been placed inside the end of the grip to deliver a better balance when playing so that users can experience more control on shots without having to exert extra effort. The club is also half an inch shorter, without counterbalancing, to create even more control.
Features and Benefits
This is huge: a bigger head means an MOI of 2,908 g-cm2 in the 7-Iron—our most ever in a Cleveland Golf Hybrid-Iron. It’s maximum distance with maximum fun.
Gliderail in the long Irons gradually transitions to a V-Shaped sole in the short Irons and ultimately a 3-Tiered Sole on the Dual and Sand Wedges.
Designed using Artificial Intelligence, MainFrame variable face technology increases ball speed while unique weight pad designs ensure maximum forgiveness across the face.
An 8g weight placed inside the end of the grip delivers better balance for more control without extra effort.
Our stepped crown drops the centre of gravity for high-launching shots.
4i-7i lofts have wider, flatter grooves. 8i-SW lofts have closely-spaced, deeper, and higher spinning Wedge grooves.
If precision is your top priority, this custom configuration is half an inch shorter without counterbalancing for max control.
