The TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls have been designed to provide golfers with Tour quality performance at a lower price.
TaylorMade has used a 100% urethane cover when designing this golf ball so that more greenside spin can be generated. By using a softer material like urethane the cover actually interacts with the grooves on the face of wedges and irons so much more spin can be generated, while also maintaining shear resistance so that the golf ball is much more durable.
The Tour Response golf ball has been created with a low 70-compression design with a Hi-Spring core that provides a much softer feel for increased control on shots, while also allowing for higher ball speeds.
A 3-piece construction has been used to maximise the energy that is transferred to create much higher ball speeds on drives and long iron shots. The high ball speed has been made possible thanks to the SpeedMantle with HFM that surrounds the low compression core so that when the energy transfers from the face of the club to the golf ball it explodes off the face at a much faster rate and creates greater distance on shots.
This ball speed pairs perfectly with the new Tour Flight Dimple Pattern that has been designed with enhanced aerodynamics to allow for maximum carry distance to be created.
Cast Urethane Cover
A soft, cast urethane cover is designed to increase green-side spin. A crosslinking chemical reaction forms the urethane material, which creates an irreversible link for improved shear resistance and greater durability.
Tour Flight Dimple Pattern
The new Tour Flight Dimple Pattern unlocks the next level of aerodynamics while promoting maximum carry distances.
SpeedMantle With HFM™
A firmer second layer surrounds the soft inner core and allows for an explosive transfer of energy and fast ball speeds.
