The 2022 Callaway Rogue ST Max Fairway Wood is a perfect fit for players who are wanting speed, forgiveness and all-around performance.
The MAX Fairway Wood model features a new progressive shape which will appeal to a wide range of players as it is the widest club in the Rogue ST offering, featuring models from a 3W through to 11W.
The new designs, added with several of Callaway’s innovations, represent a breakthrough in fairway performance with Callaway claiming that this club has the capability to add up to 10 yards further to a player's shot.
These extra 10 yards have been made possible because of the new A.I. designed Jailbreak ST which features Batwing Technology to help promote stability while increasing the speed that can be generated. The two jailbreak batwings have been pushed to the perimeter of the face which allows for additional stiffness, but this hasn’t reduced that amount the face flexes, leading to even higher ball speeds and distance.
Callaway has introduced the ground breaking Tungsten Speed Cartridges for the first time in a fairway wood. By using up to 27 grams of high-density tungsten, the center of gravity (CG) is pushed lower and much further forward. This CG movement has resulted in a more optimal launch, much lower spin and the ability to reach much greater ball speeds.
Speed has definitely been a key focus for Callaway when designing this club, as they have decided to use a higher strength face cup. The Flash Face Cup, which has been used on the Callaway Epic Speed Fairway Wood with great success, provides speed and spin consistency across the face, while the C300 maraging steel used is specially treated by Callaway Golf to produce a product that provides unrivaled strength and flexibility.
Along with the enhanced strength and flexibility, the face, which was designed using Callaways Artificial Intelligence technology, has been optimized to create even more speed, launch and spin. This A.I. designed unique face pattern is customised for each model and loft option in the ST Fairway lineup.
