The grooves-in-grooves technology that has been included in this Callaway Wedge design with milled micro-grooves works to promote additional spin on the golf ball on a range of different shots by using a 20 degree angle that creates a better relationship with the golf ball and club face.
A new raw face has been used which allows for the premium look to be maintained throughout the entire club head by removing the plating on the face that allows for rusting to occur over time in the scoring zone.
Weight balancing has been another key point when designing this golf club so that the MD Jaws Raw Golf Wedge can provide golfers with improved feel and scoring performance anywhere on the golf course. Callaway has designed these golf wedges with an innovative design which includes using Tungsten for the first time ever when creating the Sand Wedge and Lob Wedge. By using this design this Callaway golf club now features a centre of gravity that has been moved to a more central position so that with every shot golfers can experience improved control and feel.
The design of these golf clubs includes variable length hosel that has been chosen because of the increased forgiveness that they provide with each shot while also offering greater control on shot trajectory on full shots.
