Phantom X 9.5 has been created by Scotty Cameron to offer golfers a golf club that features an enhanced and balanced sole with alignments that ensure that golfers have the optimal amount of accuracy when putting while also having a mallet putter that feels more like a blade.
The Phantom X series of putters all feature a new precision-milled “X” design on the sole that has been used to provide the perfect amount of balance when at the address of a golf ball. The sole itself has been created using an aluminium body which has been paired with stainless steel weights that create perimeter weighting in the head of this golf club to provide enhance stability and plenty of forgiveness.
Scotty Cameron has used stainless steel when designing the face of this golf club which has been milled to an incredibly high standard which is then blended into the design of the body and wings of the mallet clubhead. This putter also features a single milled sight line which has been placed on a dark flange that provides brilliant alignment for golfers when at the address of the golf ball for added confidence when lining up a shot.
A small slant golf shaft has been included in the design of this golf clubs to provide an uninterrupted view of the golf ball from the address that features an offset that encourages a bit of toe flow on putting strokes. The neck design of this golf putter has been paired with an updated Pistolero Plus grip that offers a new, non-slip texture that offers the perfect combination of size, feel and feedback while putting.
The Scotty Cameron Phantom X family features five different variations of this golf putter that golfers can pick from to match their taste and playing style - The Phantom X 5, X 5.5, X 7, X 7.5, X 9, X 12.
New Textured Grip
Scotty updated the Pistolero Plus grip offering for with a new, non-slip, decorative texture that, like its predecessors, has less taper in the low hand for the ideal combination of size, feel and feedback.
Simple Alignment
A clean topline in conjunction with a single milled sight line painted dove gray on the dark flange provides confident alignment when paired with the subtly sculpted milling marks designed into the metal.
Small Slant/Jet Neck
The small slant/jet neck lays back slightly and employs a seamless shaft-over setup for an uninterrupted view of the ball from address with nearly one shaft of offset in a configuration that encourages a bit of toe flow.
