Cobra have officially launched the LTDx series of Golf Clubs, expertly designed to provide golfers incredible power and accuracy by spending years working on advancing the materials, weight, and aerodynamics that go into making a brilliant set of clubs.
All of the Drivers in the LTDx series feature Cobra’s PWR-COR™ Technology. The PWR-COR is a multi-material weighting system that combines steel, titanium, and aluminium and is placed closer to the face drivers of the driver. Placing the weight in this area of the driver creates lower levels of spin while achieving faster ball speeds to maximise your distance.
The PWR-COR™ Technology has been paired with several other advancements from Cobra to create a driver that they are calling their fastest and most forgiving driver - ever. With extreme MOI and zero CGna designed for all golfers who want to experience the ultimate combination of low spin and stability.
The Fairway Woods utilise Cobra’s H.O.T (Highly Optimised Topology) Face Technology to provide 15 HOT zones that are located in different areas of the face with strategically different levels of thickness. This design choice, which was created using artificial intelligence, allows for increased ball speed across a wider area of the face and increases the “smash factor”.
The Hybrids in the LTDx series have Baffler Rails on the sole to ensure that players will experience effortless gliding on swings out of tight lies, thick rough, and even bunkers. Experience a smoother shot in harsher conditions and gain the confidence to put more power behind your shots to reach the target.
Amongst the Irons, including Cobras ONE Length 37.5” irons, featuring a new type of PWR-COR™ technology that uses a specially designed polymer core.
The core is injected with a polymer that encases a steel bar. This steel bar is suspended in the middle of the polymer injection to allow more mass to be placed behind the area that
golfers are more likely to strike the ball with, creating more power and ball speed.
Using this polymer injection design also allows for maximum flexibility of the face, sole, and body of the club. This flexibility means that the face of the club absorbs the energy that is generated at the point of impact and then redirects it back to the ball to create an even more powerful shot.
